President's Message
Dennis Drake, 2025-2026
Aloha from the Rotary Club of Pearl Harbor,
The Rotary Club of Pearl Harbor is dedicated to community service, fellowship, fun, and promoting good will. We’re one of over 50 great Rotary clubs in the State of Hawaii and over 46,000 Rotary clubs worldwide.
Our club is 75 years old this year with a rich legacy of service and camaraderie! Several times each year, we participate in the Hawaii Food Bank’s food packing projects which benefit both children and the elderly; we clean the Ehime Maru Memorial and surrounding Kaka’ako Park on the third Saturday of each June; we conduct a Student of the Quarter program where we honor students from Radford High School. We also sponsor Rotary Interact Clubs at Radford and Moanalua high schools and involve their members in our service projects and Rotary leadership programs.
Each year, the Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation (HRYF) provides a $5,000 scholarship to the winner of our scholarship competition, and we award additional scholarships graciously bequeathed by our late club member Dudley Fullard-Leo. Our participation in Rotary’s statewide Dictionary Project provides over 1,000 dictionaries to third graders in the Pearl Harbor area.
Rotary is truly an international organization and for the past 40 years, we’ve had a Sister Club with the Hiroshima Southeast Rotary Club in Japan, helping us promote Rotary’s mission of peace and understanding worldwide.
Our club also helps sponsor the Journey to Peace Initiative, a series of forums geared to the upcoming generations, where leading diplomatic, military, academic and community leaders look at the lessons and missed opportunities of World War II and succeeding conflicts, and how these could help prevent war today.
We cordially invite you to visit our club and help us perpetuate “The Magic of Rotary.”
Your first lunch in on us! If you’ d like to learn more about Rotary and our club, please call or email us.
